Our client, located near the Connecticut shore offers a full-time, direct hire, permanent job opportunity. Seeking a Director, Patient Care Informatics to help organize and coordinate information systems for Patient Care Services from initial planning process to final implementation, ongoing assessment of projects and utilizing best practices for optimal output. In this role you will report to the Vice President of Patient Care Services. Responsibilities will include System Planning, System Analysis, System Design, Testing, Training, Implementation and ongoing maintenance/support. You will also be a key stakeholder in system Human Factors, assessing ergonomics and user interfaces.
This position is responsible for management and leadership of team members and will provide functional oversight to IS projects. You will also serve as the IS liaison with medical, clinical and adjunct users of the EMR.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years progressively more responsible experience in Leadership/Management
- CT state nursing license
- Experience in Nursing Informatics
